Markel Specialty hired us to write engaging resource articles to give helpful tips to their consumers on a variety of topics. These articles are used on Markel’s website and on social media. The articles average 1,000 likes and 200 comments on Markel’s Facebook page. Markel Specialty, one of Markel Corporation’s four insurance divisions, underwrites innovative property and casualty solutions for both standard and hard-to-place risks.

Next Step Goals
Julie O’Keeffe, certified life coach and owner of Next Step Goals, hired our firm for marketing and public relations services. We worked with Julie to develop and execute a 12-month marketing and PR plan. As a result, Julie gained awareness through various strategic marketing materials, speaking events, and exposure in the media: Fox 6, Real Milwaukee (10-week series of appearances), Wauwatosa Patch, Her Life Magazine, Natural Awakenings and the BizTimes.
We developed the social media strategy and helped build Facebook fans and Twitter followers for HoodiePet. HoodiePet increased its social media reach by 30 percent in just two weeks. HoodiePet is both a snuggly fleece hoodie and a plush toy that attaches with Velcro to the front pocket of the hoodie. HoodiePet is not just an item of clothing, but also an imaginative puppet that encourages creative play, while offering warmth and comfort for children ages 2 to 10.
CORE Consulting hired our team for public relations and marketing communications for its new rapid prototyping services. We secured coverage in the BizTimes, and The Business Journal and wrote two new brochures for the company.

Wisconsin Pet Care hired us for public relations. We secured coverage for the company on: Fox 6, KISS FM, THE MIX, 1250 AM and the BizTimes. Wisconsin Pet Care is the #1 pet sitting business in Southeastern Wisconsin, providing in-home pet sitting, dog walking and cat sitting. With more than 1,000 customers and 21 highly skilled pet sitters, Wisconsin Pet Care sitters are passionate about animals and have extensive pet experience and backgrounds, are skilled in animal training and management, First Aid, CPR and delivering medications and injections. The company has won several awards, including 2013 & 2012 Angie\'s List Super Service Award, 2012 Business of the Year Finalist for the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, 2011 Pet Sitter A List for WISN, and Presents 4 Pets National Fundraiser for National Shelter Appreciation Week.

She worked closely with the media to introduce the professional and philanthropic women’s organization to Milwaukee, securing coverage in the BizTimes, OnMilwaukee.com, Natural Awakenings, Wisconsin Woman, Shepherd Express, TMJ4, Fox 6, 89.7, KISS FM, THE MIX, and 1250 AM.
Nativity Jesuit Middle School
Nativity Jesuit Middle School (NJMS) hired us for its marketing communication needs, including branding, bi-annual newsletter, social media strategy, public relations, and new Website strategy (writing, design direction and photo selection). NJMS educates Latino youth for Christian leadership and service.
We met with Northpoint Horizons to understand its goals and products in order to develop a tagline that set it apart from its competitors: Thinking Beyond the Textbook. Northpoint Horizons is dedicated to developing research-based and innovative teaching systems designed to increase every student’s engagement and learning.
Dryhootch hired us to help the non-profit organization gain awareness in the Milwaukee community. We secured spots for Dryhootch on Fox 6, TMJ4, WISN, CBS 58 and KISS FM. Dryhootch of America, Inc. is a Milwaukee-based veteran nonprofit organization dedicated to helping veterans and their families who survived the war, survive the peace. Dryhootch was founded in 2008 by a group of Vietnam combat veterans who want to help Iraq/Afghanistan veterans from experiencing the same problems, such as PTSD and alcohol/drug additions, that plagued and still plague the Vietnam veteran generation. Dryhootch operates out of a coffee house where veterans can reconnect with other veterans and find support in an informal, comfortable setting. Above the coffee house, veterans can participate in a group or individual peer-to-peer counseling sessions. The coffee house is also open to the public.
Center for Veterans Issues
Center for Veterans Issues hired us to promote Summer Stand Down and its Open House. Our team obtained media coverage through KISS FM, THE MIX, 1250 AM, the BizTimes, TMJ4 and WISN. The Center for Veterans Issues, a 501(c)(3) organization, provides housing and wraparound supportive services to veterans experiencing barriers in their lives. Although best known for serving homeless Veterans and those recovering from addiction, disabilities and other barriers to employment, the mission has always been to support the concerns of all Veterans and their families as well as the community as a whole. On any given night, CVI houses, feeds and provides reintegration services to over 300 homeless veterans. In addition, CVI serves veterans who are recently separated from the military with peer-to-peer programs, counseling opportunities, family support services, financial assistance support, employment placement services, and so much more.

We work with Career Tree Network on various communications projects to support its recruiting efforts, including website copy, case studies, postcards, letters and brochures. Career Tree Network connects working professionals and students with career opportunities at Wisconsin healthcare organizations.

Wisconsin Investment Realty hired us to coordinate the design of its logo and create two brochures for the company.
We worked with T-Accountants to help the company develop its unique selling proposition and key messages. This resulted in updated, clear and effective website copy. T-Accountants is an accounting-services company focused on providing smart and exceptional service to entrepreneurs and small business owners in southeast Wisconsin.
